'Tis a lovely, cloudy Wednesday . . . a summer day in Dublin is like a winter day in Davis, which is say, yes, Dublin summers are just like summers in San Francisco! Bundled in my scarf and jacket, we took the train to Waterford and Kilkenney -- I'm posting some of the photos taken from our train window, from the Waterford Crystal factory tour, and from Kilkenney. Do not drive in Dublin and Kilkenny! They have very good public transit and there's no need to give yourself a nervous breakdown driving in these two towns . . . .
